Jim Peevey, SIOR, CCIM (#15714), is a founding partner of Reid Peevey Company. Jim’s two decades’ experience have made him a top producer in the Waco commercial real estate market.
Jim has a long history of helping clients navigate real estate transactions of all sizes. He uses industry expertise and an unparalleled knowledge of Waco’s commercial market to create, develop and ensure the smooth transition of contracts for clients like HEB Grocery, McLennan County, City of Waco, Westdale Properties of America, Waco and Midway ISDs, and Dr. Pepper Bottling Company.
Jim has developed relationships with the top national commercial real estate brokerage firms in the United States who have engaged him to represent their clients as an owner’s listing agent or in site selection for one of their national accounts.
A graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Jim began his commercial real estate career with Davis & Associates/Synermark in Austin where he focused on investment property sales. He moved to Waco in 1996 and was a top producer at Kelly Realtors, and then Jim Stewart Realtors (later Coldwell Banker). He branched out on his own with JS Peevey Company LLC in 2006 and then Central Texas Commercial in 2012.
Over the years, Jim has participated in many community organizations. He has served on the board of directors of Community Cancer, he was former president and board member of the Midway ISD Education Foundation, was a board member of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, and is Member of the Texas Association of Realtors. Jim is currently serving as a board member for the Heart of Texas Goodwill.
He and his wife Deborah have two children and attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Jim is active in Bible Study Fellowship.
A founding partner of Reid Peevey Commercial, Randy Reid has been active in the commercial real estate business since 1984. Randy brings substantial experience to his projects and to the clients he represents or assists. His knowledge and expertise in the commercial market can be seen throughout Waco and the surrounding cities.
A commercial real estate veteran, Randy has been involved in more than two thousand real estate transactions, specializing in real estate investments and retail leasing. He has assisted local, regional and national companies such as the Waco Industrial Foundation, Shipley’s Do-Nuts, Family Dollar Stores, L-3 Communications, Fikes Wholesale and many others. Likewise, Randy has helped many small businesses in their quest for the perfect location for retail, office and industrial needs.
Randy attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He began his real estate career as a sales associate for Jim Stewart Realtors (later Coldwell Banker). In 2004, he founded his own business, The Reid Company, to better serve his new and long-term clientele.
In an effort to expand investment opportunities and services to clients, Randy partnered with Jim Peevey to create Reid Peevey Commercial, a unique brokerage service designed to offer seamless assistance through every aspect of the commercial real estate process. A lifelong athlete, Randy has dedicated the last few years to competing in global Masters Olympic Weightlifting competitions. He and his wife Jean have lived in Waco since 1976, but make time to travel the world. Occasionally, he takes his four children and two grandchildren with him.
Pat Farrar has become a leading retail investment, sales and leasing specialist in Central Texas, brokering more than 1,000,000 square feet of retail space. His knowledge of the market and intricacies involved in successfully negotiating deals have proven invaluable in satisfying the needs of tenants and landlords alike.
Pat began his commercial real estate career seventeen years ago with The Reid Company. During this time, he has been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry, representing sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants in the sale, purchase and leasing of retail centers, office buildings, industrial properties and raw land.
After earning a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M in 1994, Pat returned to Waco where he married and started a family that is proud to call Waco home.<
Born and raised in Waco, Griffin Peevey followed in the footsteps of his father Jim Peevey when he joined the Commercial Real Estate industry. Growing up in the communities that he now has the privilege to work with, Griffin knows the importance of community growth and the importance of local businesses.
He attended Lorena High School for 3 years before graduating from Vanguard College Prep where soon after he attended and played basketball at The Citadel, a military academy in South Carolina. After injuries cut his playing career short, he transferred to Texas Tech in Lubbock to finish his academic career. In May 2022 he graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in History and joined the company full time soon thereafter.
