Jim Peevey, SIOR, CCIM (#15714), is a founding partner of Reid Peevey Company. Jim’s two decades’ experience have made him a top producer in the Waco commercial real estate market.
Jim has a long history of helping clients navigate real estate transactions of all sizes. He uses industry expertise and an unparalleled knowledge of Waco’s commercial market to create, develop and ensure the smooth transition of contracts for clients like HEB Grocery, McLennan County, City of Waco, Westdale Properties of America, Waco and Midway ISDs, and Dr. Pepper Bottling Company.
Jim has developed relationships with the top national commercial real estate brokerage firms in the United States who have engaged him to represent their clients as an owner’s listing agent or in site selection for one of their national accounts.
A graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Jim began his commercial real estate career with Davis & Associates/Synermark in Austin where he focused on investment property sales. He moved to Waco in 1996 and was a top producer at Kelly Realtors, and then Jim Stewart Realtors (later Coldwell Banker). He branched out on his own with JS Peevey Company LLC in 2006 and then Central Texas Commercial in 2012.
Over the years, Jim has participated in many community organizations. He has served on the board of directors of Community Cancer, he was former president and board member of the Midway ISD Education Foundation, was a board member of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, and is Member of the Texas Association of Realtors. Jim is currently serving as a board member for the Heart of Texas Goodwill.
He and his wife Deborah have two children and attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Jim is active in Bible Study Fellowship.
